Throughout my life, I have nurtured a deep passion for designing and crafting unique items for others. My journey began in 2006 when I enrolled in a woodworking class, where I transformed various types of wood into a handcrafted box to store my clothes. This experience ignited my creativity and set the stage for my future endeavors. I graduated from Whitehouse High School in Texas in 2008, eager to explore the world ahead of me.
After high school, I ventured into multiple colleges, trying to find my calling in different fields. However, I ultimately made the bold choice to drop out and serve my country by joining the military. In 2013, I enlisted in the Navy as a "Seabee," where I specialized as a mechanic. My service lasted until 2021, when I was medically retired. During my time in the Navy, I continued to hone my woodworking skills, crafting custom flags that held significant meaning for those who received them. After my retirement, I initially continued this creative outlet, producing custom flags for clients, but I decided to shift my focus and explore new avenues in 2022.
In 2023, I took a leap into the world of welding, dedicating my efforts to building elegant end tables and coffee tables. Unfortunately, after several months of trying to sell my creations, I faced the harsh reality of a challenging economy. Disheartened by the lack of sales, I made the decision to return to my previous career as a mechanic in the civilian sector.
Earlier in 2024, fate introduced me to my wonderful wife, an accomplished crafter with over 15 years of experience. One evening, while sorting through some old T-shirts, I asked her about the process of making them. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and it sparked a newfound curiosity within me. As the year went on, we began gathering the necessary equipment to embark on our T-shirt-making adventure. After creating a few initial designs, I discovered a cornucopia of possibilities, from tumblers to mouse pads and cutting boards—each opportunity more exciting than the last.
Our venture truly began in September 2024 when we launched our beautifully crafted 20 oz tumblers. Recognizing that my Facebook Marketplace account drew significant attention, we decided to see if we could sell our tumblers there. Listing them for just $10 each, we watched in amazement as one case of 24 sold out within two weeks. Buoyed by our success, I ordered 48 more tumblers, quickly realizing that this exciting journey was just beginning. By the end of 2024, we had successfully sold over 200 tumblers.
As we continued to create throughout the year, our passion blossomed into a thriving business, with plans for expansion in 2025. We launched a user-friendly website, established a post office box for fan correspondence, and began offering delightful fan merchandise. In 2025, we are eager to make a greater impact in our local community by participating in markets.
